Sys EnR is accelerating in the energy transition by joining the Butagaz group.


Positive Capital acted as financial advisor to Sys EnR and its founder Franck Raffali as part of its capital structure reorganization project.



Context


With the support of Butagaz, Sys EnR wishes to unlock its growth potential in the market for the design, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic solar installations for B2B projects in roofs, shade houses and power plants. in the field, with 49 employees and a turnover of 10 million euros in 2022.


Since 2007, Franck Raffali, co-founder of Sys EnR, has continued to best meet the needs of solar power plant operators. The company has thus carried out more than 500 installations for a total installed capacity of more than 300MW. Among its references, large groups such as Lidl (distributor) or even Spirit (developer) or Argan (developer of logistics buildings) have called on the expertise of the French challenger's teams in the tertiary and industrial segment and on development projects. (self-consumption).


In a market experiencing very strong growth due to new government measures applied in 2021, the development of self-consumption by companies, farms and communities, Sys EnR wishes to deliver new projects more quickly, with the technical competence of the teams. the history and solidity of the Butagaz Groups.


The company's turnover increased from 5.6 million euros in 2020 to 9.5 million euros in 2022. Franc Raffalli is involved in various groups and solar unions including the Groupement des Métiers du Photovoltaïque (GMPV /FFB) as chairman, and the GS21 technical committee issuing CCFAT Technique Revues (technical certifications of new solar solutions developed for the French market), which he chairs. He is also the representative of the FFB on the board of directors of Consuel and treasurer of Enersud, the first school of production of the photovoltaic sector in Marseille.
